Course Description:
Regulations require that departments which ship or receive materials associated with bio-medical labs or animal units must have personnel with current TDG training and certification. This 1 day course is designed to familiarize receivers and shippers in bio-medical labs and animal units with the requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations for road and air transport. Participants will learn to properly label, document and package dangerous goods. Emphasis is placed on handling of diagnostic specimens, biological products, genetically modified organisms, and dry ice.

Formal certification will be issued upon successful completion for both Road and IATA Air regulations valid for 2 years.
